what is the maximum amount of people the ivy rose can accomodate?
Our venue will hold 200 guests inside the Rose Room and 300 guests in our grand attached pavilion.
IS THERE A WEDDING COORDINATOR INCLUDE IN OUR RENTAL PACKAGE REQUIRED?
A coordinator is not included in our basic rental package. We do offer in house full, month of, and day of planning services for an additional fee. You are welcome to hire an outside planner of your choosing. A licensed and professional day of coordinator is required for our venue. We will only be providing an onsite manager.
do you provide tables and chairs?
Yes! Your rental includes 150 King Louis Rattan back chairs in white wash and tan and 60" round tables for 150 guests.
Vendor tables & cocktail tables are not included but are available to rent beginning at $15.00. Additional chairs and tables are available to rent. Please inquire further to receive pricing. We provide a one-time setup and breakdown of your chairs and tables.
do you provide tableware?
We offer luxury tabletop rentals in our upgraded packages. You receive a white dinner & salad plate, stemware including wine, water and champagne as well as flatware in your color of choosing. You can upgrade to any other style for an additional fee. We have a beautiful collection of chargers, dinnerware, flatware, stemware, and candlesticks. Please inquire further for pricing.
do you have indoor & outdoor ceremony options?
Yes! We have several ceremony sites on our property including the option of using our climate controlled enclosed barn and greenhouse for indoor or inclement weather.
do you have indoor & outdoor reception options?
Yes! Our grand attached pavilion is our main reception site which hosts 300 guests. Our Rose Room is a climate controlled barn which holds 200 guests. We also have the option of the greenhouse for a reception setting for smaller weddings.
when will our rehearsal be held?
Rehearsals are not included in your rental. You may add one for $500/hour. If there is a wedding the day before your event, all rehearsals will be held at your preferred scheduled time on Thursday. If there is no event the day prior to your wedding, then it will be scheduled for the day before your event. If you do not want to invest in a rehearsal, you can do it the morning of your wedding during your contracted event timeframe.
do you require insurance?
We do require that you obtain and provide proof of day of insurance. You can easily obtain this online or through your homeowners policy.
is alcohol allowed?
Alcohol is allowed and we offer a bar package with our all-inclusive package. You are responsible for arranging alcohol through your caterer or you can obtain a one day banquet license from Virginia ABC. Whomever purchases the alcohol is responsible for obtaining the required license. A bartender for every 50 guests is required for serving beverages.
can we hire outside vendors?
We welcome all outside vendors; however, it must be approved. We will require that they present insurance documentation and sign our vendor manual before they are welcome to perform their services at our venue.
is there a golf cart onsite?
A golf cart is not included in your rental. However, you can add on our 16-seater enclosed, climate controlled golf cart with your package to use for bridal party photos. Only an Ivy Rose manager is allowed to operate the vehicle. The fee is $200. This is not a shuttle service for guests. If you would like to add on a shuttle service, the fee is $500.
do you include a sound system and microphones?
We have an indoor/outdoor bluetooth sound system that most devices can connect to. This can only be used for atmosphere and/or cocktail music. This is not guaranteed for your day. We do not include microphones. Your DJ or Band will supply everything you need for entertainment.
how do we reserve our wedding date?
To book the Ivy Rose, we require a 50% non-refundable retainer of the full package and a $1,500 security deposit to secure your date along with a signed contract. The final payment is due 90 days prior to your event. You will receive the security deposit back 15 days after your event was held, if there were no damages or policies broken.
